What do you think are the most important keys to achieving successful outcomes? There are many, but the one thing that I see as being the most essential - and often ignored- is consistency.
Any worthy and challenging goal requires sustained effort. Getting involved on a project for a day or two isn't that hard but where most people fall is in stringing those days together and thereby creating the progresss, the momentum, and achieving the ultimate goal. That's the tough part. While pursuing your goal ( it can be an exam, a subject, a project etc), maintain your focus, your enery and your optimism while pursuing your goal. Here's the tips:
- Have strong reasons - Make sure it's YOUR GOAL that you're achieving. Make sure it excites you and makes you act enthusiastically. This is because, your strong reasons is the pushing note that keep your motivated.
- Write your goal down - Don't just think it, ink it! When you write it down, they not only appear on paper, but they become visible upon your consciousness.
- Visualise - Don't just image your objective. You got to 'see' it coming alive. Nothing can withstand the power of a clear, multi-sensory vision. The more detailed and 'real' you can make your vision, the more powerful it will be.
- It's your success - Speak your goal into existence. An affirmation is a positive statement.
- Plan your action - Of course, talking isn't going to make your goal comes true. Act on it. Make plan on the strategies to ger you from where you are to where you want to be. Keep your eye on the goal, but remain flexible in your bath to it.
- Weight your progress - Use charts or anything that will encourage you by allowing you to objectively track your progress.
- Buddy group -Surround yourselve with people that will encourage you or challenge you to do better. Read positive books.
- Focus on your goal according - Don't push yourselves too hard. You can't achieve everything over time. Take time to concentrate on your efforts and complish one at a time.
- Be flexible - Have few ways to achieve your goal. Do mind mapping and you will see where you can get closer to your goal over time.
- It's celebration! - Reward yourselve as you achieve your one goal. You can see better and believe more easily in the accomplishment of others.
Good Luck!
